We are extremely proud to receive news that FIFTEEN of our Springs U17s players have been selected for the upcoming NZF Regional Training Centre in Auckland this month.
Regional Training Centres are for identified players who are showing potential to become future All Whites.
The three-day camp environments will run over four months (March, May, June and August) at four locations (Auckland, Cambridge, Wellington and Christchurch). Each centre will be run by National team coaching staff, which includes our very own Head of Women's Football Ryan Faithfull.
Regional Training Centres will provide an aligned coaching environment to assist with each player’s development and best prepare them for future international football while also providing NZ Football coaching staff with a continuous identification opportunity.
Selected players have been, or will be identified for selection into the Regional Training Centres by NZ Football staff through the players' performances for their club or federation, or through the NZ Football scouting network. RTCs are a live training centre where players can be added or deselected, providing opportunities for players to come into the Centres based on their ongoing development throughout the season.
