Western Springs AFC - U11 Girls Festival

With NRF changing the season dates and reverting back to similar timelines from 5 years ago, it has provided us with the opportunity to resume offering those tournaments/festivals that were enjoyed by our football community.  We can't wait to get started!

When and Where:

Seddon Fields on Sunday 14 September 2025

Format:

  • 9v9 format (inc GK)
  • Max 14 players per team
  • 4x2 goals
  • field is 1/2 size of 11v11 field
  • all teams will play a minimum of 5 games during the day

Player eligibility:

  • Girls born 2014 or later

Guest players:

  • No guest players are allowed. Players should all have been registered for the club they are playing for between 1st May 2025 and 1st September 2025 on Comet (NZF registration).

Max number of entries per club:

  • 3 teams per club/per age group. Please note if you register any more than 3 teams, we have the right to cancel all entries. If you'd like more teams, please contact Adam Hayne on operations@wsafc.org.nz

Fields:

  • Mainly on turf, but we also might use our grass fields.
  • Please be respectful of our turf rules.  We only allow moulded studs or artificial turf boots on our turf fields. No metal studs, trainers or gum boots will be permitted
  • More information will be shared closer to the tournament

Price per team:

$400 + GST ($460) 

What next:

  • Club representatives should register team interest using the link below, and then places will be offered and invoices issued to clubs.  Once the invoice is paid then the team place is confirmed.
  • More information will be shared closer to the tournament including the structure/draw for the day.
