The WSAFC Wanderers are a football team for super heroes with Down Syndrome aged 5-12 years. They have been running for over 2 years and are coordinated by our Back To Your Feet Physiotherapy team - benefitting from a physiotherapist coach at every training. The focus is on connection, fitness, skill development - and of course scoring goals!
Sessions are well structured, providing routine and predictability for players. Additional volunteers provide support and encouragement and eager siblings are also welcome. Parents this is a great chance to meet other families and a rare opportunity to relax on the sidelines.
