Boys and Girls Born 2010 (and girls born in 2009)
Players can attend these sessions with the aim of playing in a Development team during 2025. The Development teams, include both a Championship and Conference team, play their weekly games on Sunday morning/afternoon and may be a stepping stone towards playing in an Academy team. Players in the Development teams may be more motivated - and will be committed to train 2x weekly during the season.
ID Sessions 2025:
- Tuesday 4 February 5:45-6:45pm
- Friday 14 February 5:45-6:45pm
These U15 Development teams for 2025 will be selected and shared by Friday 21 February for trainings to start on Monday 24 February
- Trainings will be on Mondays and Wednesdays from 5:35-6:45pm
- Additional Coaching fees will apply for terms 1, 2 and 3 (TBC)
Register to Attend
To register to attend Player Identification sessions (this is free and different to club registration for the season) for a Development Team, click on the button below. It would be helpful with planning sessions if players attending could register at least 24 hours before.
Day of session
- Players should arrive 15 minutes before it starts to register their arrival and be allocated a bib
- Players should bring a full drink bottle to speed up breaks so we play more football
- Players should wear turf boots, shin pads and appropriate football clothing
Additional information
- Only players who have registered for Western Springs AFC for 2025 may be selected for a team. Register here and follow steps - registrations open during early February.
- Players whose priority is to play with friends (or stay in the same teams as in 2024) should not attend these sessions but instead will be placed in teams by their grade coordinator once club registrations close. Players can share these preferences when registering for the 2025 season.
