Coach's Comments - May 2023

3 May

Our Premier Head Coaches, Ryan Faithfull and Scott Hales gave their thoughts on the Premier Women's and Premier Men's respective starts to the season.

Ryan Faithfull (Premier Women's Head Coach):

"After competing in the 2022 National Women’s League Final, the Women’s Premier team has had a slow start to 2023. We've welcomed many new players into the Premier squad this year & despite only having played 5-6 matches, we’ve already overcome so many hurdles as a team. We’re striving to qualify for the National Women’s League once again. The Women’s Development team has had a great start to the season and are playing great football, well done to the players, Alec & staff. Keep it up!"

Scott Hales (Premier Men's Head Coach):

"Out of the games won and lost, we feel that we should now be sat in 3rd place. We are adapting to teams' approaches to us as we go, so each game we are learning that teams that come to Seddon are adapting to our style of play. This is taken as a positive, but also a constant reminder that we must fine tune how we play, and also be prepared for what teams throw at us, whether that be match us, or drop deep.Either way, we are eager to stay in the hunt and each week we have been consistent with our messages."
