Expression of Interest: Adaptive Football at WSAFC

Western Springs AFC is proud of its commitment to making football accessible for everyone in our community as we continue our mission to be our vision to be New Zealand’s leading community football club

Following the ongoing success of our Western Springs Wanderers Down Syndrome team, we are excited to explore the establishment of an additional Adaptive Football Program and we want to hear from you!

Adaptive Football is tailored for players who have a disability or support need that may make participating in mainstream football challenging. Our goal is to create a welcoming, inclusive environment where everyone can enjoy the game.

We have been inspired by other clubs and organisations across the country who are supporting their local communities.

We are seeking expressions of interest from:

• Players who would like to participate
• Families and caregivers who would like to know more
• Volunteers keen to support the programme (coaches, managers, buddies, general helpers)

If you are interested, we would love to know more and have created a basic form, with this information helping us design a programme that best meets the needs of our community.
