Job vacancy: Female Lead Coach
Western Springs AFC are looking for a Female Lead Coach to join our team!
After a successful 2022 Women’s campaign, Western Springs is looking to continue to strengthen the Girls and Women’s development programme advertising for a candidate to fill the coaching position of Female Lead Coach.
The Female Lead Coach will work closely with the Head of Women’s Football and Leadership team to support the growth of the Football systems at Western Springs.
The Female Lead Coach will be responsible for:
- Head Coach Women’s Development & National Youth League
- Assistant Coach to Women’s Premier Team
- Head Coach Girls Academy (Girls TDP U14 or U16)
- Skill Centre Trainings
- Attend and support Admin and Technical meetings
- Support the growth of Coaching Curriculum and Game Model
Additional Tasks:
- Oversee Individual Development Plans of high-potential talent
- Video Analysis
- Support Holiday Programme and Team Tournaments
A successful applicant will be highly motivated, team player, and a great communicator. It is imperative the applicant holds a full OFC C License qualification and the successful applicant will be checked through the NZ Police vetting system. You will be required to work non-traditional hours and weekends however, as in the case with sport, the position may require some flexibility regarding the type of work required and the number of hours workedeach week. Weekends and evening work will be required for the role.
