ABOUT CHATTERBOX
A family within our club tragically lost their husband and father to mental illness five years ago. Since then, Emily Turnbull, the mother of Alfie (13th Grade) and Maisey (15th Grade), has founded a charity called "Chatterbox” to promote “Chatter That Matters.”
This initiative is dedicated to breaking down the stigma surrounding mental illness by encouraging open conversations and creating spaces for people to connect. They have even built special park benches designed to facilitate these important conversations.
You may have seen one of these beautiful benches down at Point Chev beach.Stay tuned for more details in the coming weeks. Let’s make this day one to remember for WSAFC and our community!
