SEASON PREVIEW

Ahead of tonight's first Premier Women's first game of the season, we spoke to Head Coach Ryan Faithfull to hear his thoughts of the season ahead!

WSAFC: How have your pre-season preparations gone?

RF: Preseason has been good, we’ve managed to test ourselves against a variation of opposition in preparation for the season start. I am content with where the team is at going into the first league match.

WSAFC: How are the Development Team looking? Any players that could be knocking on the door of the First Team?

RF: I have been pleased with the work the Development team has been doing, and they’re committing to a great style of football which is entertaining to watch. I look forward to keeping an eye on the players progress throughout the season.

WSAFC: First game of the season this Friday night under lights at Seddon, against newly promoted Hibiscus Coast. What are your expectations of them?

RF: I am looking forward to welcoming Hibiscus Coast to Seddon. Congratulations to their players, staff and club for their promotion. We’re expecting a competitive team who might be looking to make a statement being newly promoted.

WSAFC: What are you most excited for this season?

RF: As any coach; I am most excited to support the players individual improvement throughout the season. We’re an ambitious team and strive to excel.
