Sponsor Spotlight: Quantum Pacific – A Kiwi Family Business Cleaning Up the Industry
At Western Springs AFC, we’re proud to be supported by businesses that reflect the values we hold dear – community, family, and a passion for excellence. One of those businesses is Quantum Pacific, a true New Zealand success story.
Founded in 1999 by Barry and Leanne Robertson, Quantum Pacific has grown from a modest family venture into a trusted name in cleaning supplies across the country. Still 100% Kiwi-owned and operated, their brands – Active, eco Planet, and Ceraclen – are proudly made in New Zealand and seen in households and workplaces nationwide.
What started around the family dining table is now a thriving business with over 70 staff and a growing presence. From developing plant-based formulas to using recycled New Zealand plastic in their bottles, sustainability and innovation have always been at the heart of Quantum Pacific’s mission.
Perhaps what’s most inspiring is how the business has stayed true to its roots. Barry and Leanne’s children – Tayla, Georgia, and James – are now actively involved in the day-to-day running of the company, and even Barry’s 85-year-old father still turns up to help on the factory floor. It’s that same multi-generational spirit we see across our own club – families pitching in, growing together, and building something meaningful.
Barry sums it up best:
“We started the business to be made in New Zealand and to be a family business… I’m fortunate that I’ve got all the family in the business now, and we’ve got a great group of people working for us and great customers and really good support for the trade.”
We’re thrilled to have Quantum Pacific as part of our Western Springs AFC family. Their support helps us continue to develop players, teams, and our wider community – and we encourage all our members to support those who support us.
