Springs duo fire Samoa to historic bronze medal
WSAFC would like to congratulate Jaedeci Uluvili and GK Coach Rivalina Fuimaono on securing a historic bronze medal at the OFC Women’s Nations Cup 2025, which wrapped up this weekend in Suva, Fiji.
Both have played a key role in helping Samoa secure third place at the OFC Women’s Nations Cup 2025, with a 2-0 win over tournament hosts Fiji at HFC Bank Stadium in Suva.
It marks Samoa’s highest finish at an OFC Women’s Nations Cup, surpassing their previous best of fourth from the 2022 edition. Fans can watch extended highlights and the full match replay on FIFA+: https://bit.ly/44Cho5x
Jaedeci made a huge impact for the team throughout the competition, including picking up the Player of the Match award for her impressive display against the Cook Islands during the group stage.
Our own Women’s Premier Team and Academy GK Coach, Rivalina Fuimaono, was also an integral part of this success, serving as the Goalkeeper Coach for the Samoa National Team.
You can watch Jaedeci and her Springs teammates back in action this weekend as our Women’s Premier Team take on Hibiscus Coast on Sunday 27 July at 1pm in an important NRFL Women’s Premiership fixture at Stanmore Bay Park.
We can't wait to see Jaedeci and Rivalina back at the club!
