Uluvili Called up by Samoa for OFC Women’s Nations Cup

30 May

Western Springs AFC is proud to announce that midfielder Jaedeci Uluvili has been selected by Head Coach Juan Chang to represent the Samoa Women’s National Team at the upcoming OFC Women’s Nations Cup, taking place in Fiji from 4–9 July 2025.

24 year old Uluvili’s international call-up is a well-earned reward for her outstanding form in New Zealand’s domestic competition in the Lotto NRFL Women's Premiership where she continues to impress each game. Her work rate, technical ability, and leadership in midfield have made her a standout performer for Western Springs AFC this season.

Samoa has been drawn in a challenging group alongside Papua New Guinea, the Cook Islands, and Tahiti, and we look forward to watching Jaedeci rise to the occasion on the international stage.

Fans can continue to watch Jaedeci in action throughout the local season under the guidance of new Women’s Premier Head Coach Katie Duncan as she represents Western Springs AFC with the same passion and commitment she brings to the national team, with an away trip in the Kate Sheppard Cup vs. Whakatane Town on Satruday 31 May and a cross town journey to Eastern Suburbs AFC on Sunday 8 June.

Everyone at the club extends their congratulations and best wishes to Jaedeci and the entire Samoan squad for a successful tournament in Fiji!
