WSAFC Welcomes Four More Women's Player Sponsors
With our Men’s and Women’s Premier Teams in action, Western Springs AFC is thrilled to announce additional support for four of our Women’s Premier players through our growing Player Sponsorship initiative.
Launched earlier this season, this initiative allows local supporters and businesses to get behind two of our top teams as we aim for success in our respective premier competitions.
Women’s sport across New Zealand continues to attract well-deserved investment and profile, particularly here at Western Springs AFC. This week, we’re proud to welcome four new sponsors to our Women’s Premier Team for the remainder of the 2025 season.
Arisa Takeda has been kindly sponsored by WSAFC’s very own Hot Springs team, currently playing in the NRF Women's Division 1. The Hot Springs shared:
"Hot Springs have fond memories of Arisa playing a game or two for us a couple of years ago. When the sponsorship opportunity came up, Arisa was an obvious choice. We’re excited to be part of this new initiative supporting our Premier teams."
Captain Tiana Hill is now supported by KPM Goldsmiths & Co. London, while Sophie Makwana will be proudly sponsored by Wine Direct. A representative from Wine Direct commented:
"I've always been impressed by Sienna's playing style – she's tough, uncompromising, and has a keen eye for goal. With her selection for the U17 NZ team, the football world is now at her feet. It's fantastic to see the club encouraging supporters to back our Premier teams through this initiative."
Defender Sarah Morton will be supported by Tilley+Co, a specialist law firm.
100% of proceeds from the Player Sponsorship initiative go directly into supporting high-quality playing and coaching environments for our players, helping meet the demands of top-level amateur domestic football in New Zealand.
