Earning their Licence

9 Oct

Congratulations to both Katie Rood (right in photo), our Academy Manager – Girls, and Julie Dunn, our NRFL Girls U14 Head Coach and Senior Committee Member

Both attended Part 2 of the OFC / NZF B Licence this week in Albany and pending final assessment will join many other WSAFC coaches with OFC/NZF licences.

The course is delivered by New Zealand Football, led by experienced and qualified Coach Developers with the aim of helping and supporting coaches from across the country.

The Advanced Coaching Course is a year-long programme of learning and development aimed at aspirational coaches and leaders and we are fortunate to have two of our leading coaches involved.

It supports a key strategic pillar of the WSAFC Strategy, with our investment into quality coaching. We understand the impact coaches play in the development of our young players and want to provide the best possible experiences whilst at the club.

WSAFC is an accredited NZF Talent Development Programme club, as well as a key supporter of NZF Coach Development.
Well done Katie and Julie!
