Emiliano Tade signs for Springs for 2024

Western Springs AFC is thrilled to announce the latest addition to our Premier Men's squad – the phenomenal Emiliano Tade, freshly signed from Auckland City!

Emiliano isn't just a player; he's a legend, holding the prestigious title of the all-time leading goal scorer in New Zealand Football Championship history. An eight-time veteran of the FIFA Club World Cup, including that Auckland City's triumphant journey in the 2014 FIFA Club World Cup, securing a remarkable 3rd place finish.Fresh off the pitch in Saudi Arabia for the 2023 FIFA Club World Cup, Emiliano showcased his skills with a substitute appearance against Al-Ittihad. A star-studded lineup featuring the likes of Fabinho (formerly of Liverpool), N'Golo Kanté (formerly of Chelsea), and the one and only Karim Benzema, known for gracing the fields of Real Madrid.
